Crowd Control

I’m trying to follow Jesus’ example of looking on crowds of people with compassion (Mark 6:34).  In fact I rely on this verse when my patience wears thin in a horde of people. Regardless of my personal growth in this area, I found a common theme anywhere I’ve traveled: Lose the crowds.  It’s not that I don’t like people. I just find large groups stressful. Plus I don’t like a bunch of strangers in my photos. Over time, I’ve collected ways to avoid throngs of people wanting to experience the same beauty, excitement or landmark as me. In fact, when planning and executing a vacation I find the avoidance of even large groups becomes as much a quest as the destination.  Consequently my travel log will include all the best ways to find solitude in your adventures. Or at least some elbow room!
